Bondcommanderbond has made a habit out of building up World War 2 inspired paintball guns. One of my favorites is this Delisle Carbine. The Delisle was a suppressed bolt action carbine built on a Lee Enfield platform. Bond used real enfield parts to really nail the look, and “rain covers” tend to work well with our subsonic paintball ammunition. When asked how well the cover works, he replied “Compared to the other pumps on the field it seemed dryer.” Not bad.
Here’s what he has to say about it:
I used an American Enfield 1914/14 stock ……purchased 3 years ago at a gun show for about 20 dollars. I originally planned on making a 1918 Bergman machine pistol marker with it.
A Mauser trigger assembly and a Mauser trigger were also used (the Lee Enfield trigger pivoted too low). A Lee enfield trigger guard was welded in place (bigger than the mauser trigger guard). A Trraccer pump was used for internals…The bolt handle is steel brazed to a metal strip. It is crude but has quite a smooth action.
